Baja is a contemporary Mexican restaurant located in Fortitude Valley, reknown for its vibrant atmosphere and stylish decor offering an elevated take on classic Mexican dishes, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Their menu features a variety of tacos, snacks, and sharing plates, as well as a selection of cocktails.
The owner of Baja Modern Mexican is Daniel Quinn a hospitlaity veteran, who was approached by the developers of FV Peppers hotel and residences to create a culinary concept for the space. Quinn, inspired by the vibrant surf, sun, and culinary scene of Baja California in Mexico, decided to bring a modern Mexican experience to Brisbane.
With the help of his partner Sarah Vize, who designed the restaurant's interiors, and a talented team of chefs and staff, Quinn opened Baja Modern Mexican. The restaurant aims to offer an elevated and authentic taste of Mexican cuisine while embracing local Queensland produce.
